Hawkeye Hockey Adds Alumni Director
Hawkeye Hockey has appointed 2007-08 Club President and three year player
Kyle "Chuck" Norris to head up its' new Alumni Director position. Norris will be in
charge of soliciting funds from former University of Iowa Alumni from all disciplines
in an effort promote and fund present and future club activities.....

Youth Hockey Camp - A Great Success!
The staff and players want to extend a big THANK YOU to all eighty (80) youth
players and their parents for attending and supporting our 2nd Annual Youth
Hockey Camp! We sincerely hope all campers enjoyed the experience and

for the upcoming season. A basic understanding and some working knowledge of
the game is all that is required. No previous coaching experience is necessary for

FAQ Regarding Tryouts - Program
Interested players should check out the FAQ tab for answers to all your questions
regarding tryouts and the Hawkeye Hockey Program in general. The website will
be updated on a regular basis when information regarding practices, tryouts,
games, coaching staff hires, etc. happens. The program is still looking for
assistant coaches, sponsorships, and volunteers to help out for the upcoming
2008-09 season. The program is anticipating the need for two (2) teams for next
year, but the decision will not be finalized until after the tryouts in August.
