MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. – The University of Iowa went on the road this weekend and came up short against a tough Lindenwood University squad at the Centene Community Ice Center.
Friday night, Lindenwood took a 10-1 win over the Hawkeyes.
Blake Brenczewski scored the lone Iowa goal, while Justin Howard and Carter Winborne combined to make 52 saves in goal.
In the finale Saturday night, the Hawkeyes fell 6-0.
Next week, Iowa plays a pair at Illinois, starting Friday night at 10 p.m. and wrapping Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
